What is it about the word virgin? Whenever it appears in the title of a movie you are almost guaranteed that the flick will have more nudity than you can shake your stick at. Such is the case with Virgin Witch (1971), a horror film that marked the nude debut of actress Patricia Haines. Although the R rated chiller diller stars the real-life sisters Ann Michelle and Vicki Michelle, the real scene stealers are Patty’s bare breasts! You can bet they once impressed Michael Caine, who was married to her from 1955 to 1962. That was back when the English Rose rose to fame on British television. Long before her first husband won Oscars for Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) and The Cider House Rules (1999), Patricia lent her sexy presence to the spy shows The Avengers (1961) and The World of Tim Frazer (1960-1961). Since then, the boob tube babe played Vivien Ames and Laura Verney on the soap operas Compact (1963-1964) and Emmerdale (1973-1974), respectively. And even though she remained clothed, the talented ingénue managed to reveal her … range in the thriller The Last Shot You Hear (1969) and the science fiction comedy The Adventures of Don Quick (1970). While the statuesque stunner never became a household name in the United States, she obviously had what it takes to enchant fans and men.
